Clinical Supervision · York and Online

A space to think clearly, reflect honestly, and grow as a clinician

I offer clinical supervision for psychologists, therapists, and trainees, available in person in York or remotely. My approach is person-centred and values-driven, creating a space where you can explore your practice openly and with confidence.

Supervision that takes you and your practice seriously

Good supervision is one of the most valuable investments a clinician can make. It’s a space to slow down, think carefully about your work, and develop as a practitioner in a way that is genuinely supported rather than just evaluated.

My supervision is person-centred and values-driven. I take seriously both the clinical and the human dimensions of the work, recognising that who you are as a person is as important as what you know as a clinician. I work collaboratively, bringing curiosity and warmth alongside honest challenge where it’s needed.

I draw on my experience across NHS and private practice settings, including work with trauma, anxiety, complex presentations, and neurodevelopmental assessment. I bring that breadth into supervision without imposing a rigid model, adapting to what you and your work actually need.

What good supervision looks like

I believe supervision should feel purposeful, safe, and genuinely useful. Here’s what I aim to bring to every session.

01

A genuinely safe space

Somewhere you can bring the cases that are keeping you up at night, the moments you’re uncertain about, and the parts of your practice you’re still developing, without fear of judgment.

02

Honest challenge alongside real support

I don’t believe good supervision is just validating. I’ll offer perspectives that stretch your thinking, ask questions that open things up, and support you to develop your own clinical reasoning.

03

Attention to you as well as your clients

The relational and emotional dimensions of clinical work matter. We’ll pay attention to what the work brings up for you, not just what’s happening in the room with your clients.

04

Grounded in evidence and ethics

I bring a solid grounding in evidence-based practice and professional ethics to supervision, ensuring our work together is clinically sound and professionally robust.

How it works

01

Get in touch

Drop me a message with a little about your role, your experience, and what you’re looking for from supervision. There’s no formal application process, just an honest conversation.

02

An initial conversation

We’ll have a brief call to talk through what you need and whether we’d be a good fit. Supervision works best when there’s a genuine connection, so it’s important we both feel comfortable.

03

Agree a contract and get started

If we decide to work together, we’ll agree a supervision contract covering frequency, focus, and expectations. Then we get started.
